i seriously cannot believe how much i've cried. i mean...i never cry. ever. but combining everyone leaving, i'm dying. saying goodbye to leah was tough, and then my sister was tougher. i was seriously dying in the car on the way home trying not to like...explode. but saying goodbye to my dad today? oh my god.

i can't help feeling guilty for some reason, like i'm leaving him all alone. i know its stupid, but i just got really upset. and i know i'm probably going to sit in my room sobbing for twenty minutes when my aunt drops me off. this is so hard.

I only really post when something interesting has happened, or that I'm wallowing in so much misery that I really am so unmotivated I don't even want to go to the t.v. and watch bridget jones's diary for the millionth time.

soo, summer has been alright. i went to disney which was fun. scott, brian and i had lots of fun playing around in the parks. i kinda wanna plan a trip for the end of the summer to disney, but sam and i are prob the only losers who'll want to go.

i did orientation at gw. it was terrible, only because i realized that i'm making a huge mistake and aside from having an excellent program in my major, gw is absolutely NOT the school for me and i'll probably have to be perpetually intoxicated in order to enjoy it, which, considering my roomate, will probably be arranged.

anyway, it would seem(as if i needed time to think this over) that i've screwed up my life(well...not life, but current life) royally. you should ALWAYS trust your first instincts, and when they say 'don't get attached,' ignore his stupid ims every night, cute little jokes etc. and remember, just because he tells the entire planet that he's interested in you, doesn't mean he is...ohhh no. because this would only make sense. so i basically blew it with a guy that i reallly liked only to be screwed over, semi-heartbroken like i suspected and wished to avoid in the first place.

so i'm sort of apologizing to myself because i'm the only one to blame. and i'm sort of apologizing to someone else although he's most likely forgotten all about me. and part of me is just pisssed off, well, that's like..most of me.

SO, thank you bridget jones for inspiring me to write this entry. i am now going to read books with complicated titles for the rest of the night and pretend i'm drinking a bottle of wine, which is actually ben and jerry's.

Today tragedy struck in the form of death. The death a beloved friend: Jack Maragni-Mc Maugh. Please be prepared for a possibly ridiculous entry.

Jack wasn't just a cat. He was much more than that. He was a free spirit, he was a friend, at times he was an attack cat, but he was always my favorite. I'm going to truly miss his little face every morning, and his paws scratching at the front door requesting to be released into the vast jungle of Kenneth Street. He was never content to watch the world go by, he lived in it. He was only a cat, of simple mindset and goals, but we can look at this little guy whose life was cut dreadfully short. His death made us all stop and think; well it made me stop and think. I hope there is some sort of cat afterlife, and that he can go run around in…Saint Francis' backyard. I just wish I got to say goodbye.

Warning: corny post travel entry ahead.

I've slowly learned that you're never done discovering yourself. You can go somewhere a million times, listen to a song hundreds of times and still, everytime you notice something that wasn't there before. Jetlagged Andria is indeed an interesting person, I guess I reflect too much and scare myself thinking about the future. But still, for me there is a certain sense of security knowing that the future is indefinite.

I've 'bonded' with so many people this trip it's strange. I mean, there are people I goofed off with but then there are people that I really...connected with. People who I previously annoyed, or simply noticed owned the same shirt as me. I've always been a little quiet and unsure of myself, but I think I opened up a little more this trip. I'm not yet comfortable in my skin, but I think it's okay that people know that. I view it all with a bittersweet sort of smile, and still can't understand how something that literally took no thought at all has been on my mind for the past...72 hours? And how a person never noticed suddenly knows more about me than half my friends. Life is strange.

So after that horrible little excerpt, now for Italy's slightly embaressing/entertaining moments!

-Marcos the Austrian bus driver does, in fact, speak English and thus, fully understood Leah and my comments about his cute butt.

Like Faye, I only update this when I'm very bored. And I am VERY bored right now. So bored that I went back, and wrote large paragraphs for my eco homework which I will get no credit for because my teacher is curazee. Like most of the people I encounter.

My suitcase now has a small thing of tissues in it. I'm really on my way now. Sam and I (after getting lost for twenty minutes) ate dinner at CPK, which was yummy. I then taught Sam how to pump gas, and we went to Dunkin Donuts and ate munchkins until MNC.

It has obviously been ages since I've posted in this. Yeah, like I don't have time. I'm online everyday. Just not enough awkward situations to entertain you all with.

I'm excited about Italy, although there is a certain person I'm a little troubled with. If she continues to turn up the bitch, I’ll bitch at her right back. What gives her the right to talk down to every person she contacts? Yeah, maybe her boyfriend and her submissive friends are all right with that, but I’ll Beyonce's 'Ring the Alarm,' on her. It should be a fun trip. Speaking Italian is definitely an advantage, and food galore.

So currently, Greg is my prom date. It should be fun. Of course I'd prefer taking someone more of a 'significant other' status, but whatever.

Oh, yeah. So awkward situations. Um, first of all Luigi (insertasianlastname) is absolutely the weirdest human being ever. He sits next to me in math and just rattles off these strange things. A few days ago, he asked Mr. Cutajar if he accepted Jesus Christ. He also mutters strange comments under his breath and growls. Today, he told the substitute she had a "nice large butt" only it seems I'm the ONLY person who hears any of this.

This afternoon I went to starbucks with Leah, Faye and... Faye's man (with the very groomed eyebrows I might add) and some curraaaaazeeee guy next to us is talking to "little Billy" very loudly on his phone, about some AA meeting. He then proceeds to begin listening to my description/imitation of Luigi, and points to me. He asked me if I was in to acting, and that I was funny and should go take and acting test. He told Leah she was funny too. Afterward, he called Little Billy and asked him if he "accepted Jesus Christ," between snorts.

You know all those awkward situations that occur in movies? They all happen to be on a daily basis. Perfect example, today.

After Michelle and I finished watching 'Saved' which was today's Movie Day choice film, we headed over to the mall to do some holiday shopping. So, this crazy looking man calls after us and asks for directions. Michelle starts explaining things to him (unlike me, who is merely standing there and witnessing this, because I have little concrete sense of direction) and he insists we go inside the mall, since it's cold.

So I keep one eye on this guy, as Michelle continues with directions. Out of no where, he says "Oops, my fly is open!" Okay, awkward statement. Most people would just realize it, perhaps blush, and say thanks while excusing themselves. No, this man turns around for about ten seconds and zippers up his fly, and turns back to us.

Thoroughly skeeved out that this at least forty year old, penis-fondling man with no sense of directions even addressed us, I realize that he is about two inches away from me, staring at my face, even though MICHELLE is the one giving directions. I gave him a puzzled look and he holds up a hand to Michelle, interrupting her. He said:

"Woah. I'm sorry if I interupted...but you must be the most irish looking person I've ever seen...thanks for the directions..."

And he walks up to catch a movie.

Sooo Larissa's Premiere Party was fun. Cool movie. I was happy to spend time with a lot of people, like the Rohanis. I haven't sat down with them in forever. The best was when we attempted to get Rachel to pinch Cody's butt because he was in her way. Well, I offered her five dollars. Eventually, Danielle decided she needed the money and did it. Yeah, I laugh really loud. That hyena noise you all heard was moi.

Anyway I slept until 12 today. It was glorious. I went to Target with my Aunt and Grandma and among my purchases are Chasing Liberty on DVD (CUTESTMOVIEEVVERRRR) and a shirt. I came home, and found that a memoir of Chile I wrote a million years ago applied to to scholarships. So I revamped it and submitted it. Awesome.

Monday Night Choir= a necessary evil.

Sam came over after school, and we did homework and then went to Hunan where I did secret Chinese delivery man impressions while we fattened up on sesame chicken.

We were then tortured another few hours at the senior meeting. I entertained them with my finger puppet of Shevitz until we were all laughing so hard there were tears coming from our eyes. Even Leah's dad was laughing.

Anyway, my colleges so far, that I'd be thrilled to be accepted into:

2. NYU
3. American University
4. Middlebury College

I do have a lot of other schools in my mind, but these are my tops. In case you were wondering. Or wanted to donate to my college fund, which is probably safer than the stock exchange.
